This movie. This movie.

9 June - Forty-nine years ago was born the son of Betty Sue and John Christopher Depp. Little did know that rebellious teenager would become a major actor in the world. And that is what he is, though not like, but he is the greatest actor of all. At least for me and thousands of other fans. But it is much more than that. He is father. He is the person I love most. Most admire. More’m proud to be a fan. I love you Johnny, although you do not see the tributes that I do to you, I’ll stay here. Loving you, how I do 15 years ago. I love you, thank you for everything.

Johnny Depp’s message to his dad.

Johnny, I don’t tell you often enough anymore, but I love you. Period.

Someone make a movie where Johnny Depp and Robert Downey Jr. play brothers.

…And Robert’s character is in a gay relationship with Jude Law.

For a start, I need a movie with both Robert and Johnny. Jude being there would also be nice - and I certainly wouldn’t object if he was there as a love interest. So there.

I’ve seen this and immediately imagined myself in 40 years or so, speaking to my grandchildren and saying "You know, there was this thing called ‘perfection’…".

* Edited because I ruined the effect of this post by not being able to spell things properly

INT: Jack, your son, was more enamored with Iron Man though at one point.
JOHNNY: [laughs] Yeah, well there was an evening of Bob Downey who I’ve — we’ve known one another for a million years…
INT: I love how you call Robert Downey “Bob”.
JOHNNY: Yeah, you know we sort of came up the ranks together, you know, in a weird way back in the 80s and stuff.  And he’s someone I’ve always admired and have a good relationship.  He came over one evening for dinner — he and his wife came for dinner.  And my son was just like sitting— he just couldn’t believe that he was sitting next to Iron Man!  [laughs] So I saw, I saw Captain Jack leave my son’s eyes and Iron Man was the ticket.

INT: Now what about you and Johnny Depp doing something together? Because you two have been friends for a very long time, haven’t you?
RDJ: That would be a very low-budget venture. My dry cleaning budget is most film budgets at this point [laughs].
INT: [to Susan] You need to make this happen!
SUSAN: I think it would be fun. I think it would be great. Gotta find the right thing.
RDJ: There is nobody I admire more than Mr. Depp.
INT: What would be the right thing? What would be a good fit for the both of you?
RDJ: Um, uh … Butch and Sundance? Oh no, they did that. I don’t know. I’ll have to write it, when I retire, after this interview.
INT: When you come up with it, let us know!
